Meet the Tattoo Artist in Salt Lake City behind Dear Maria Tattoos
Hey, I’m Maria! I’ve been an artist since I was a little kid, starting with drawing nature scenes, favorite animals, and portraits of women. I’m 100% self-taught and fueled by my passion for creativity. My art media has evolved so much over the years, from pencil drawings to SFX makeup to body art and tattoo artistry.
Growing up in Washington and Oregon, I was deeply inspired by the Pacific Northwest’s natural beauty, which continues to influence my work today.
I currently tattoo at Lucid Studios in Midvale, Utah, an all-women, appointment-based studio bordering Salt Lake City. Specializing in neotraditional, illustrative, and Art Nouveau styles, I offer custom pieces and flash. I especially love tattooing high-contrast pieces
Outside of tattooing, I fill my time with traveling to new places, being outside as much as possible, attending concerts, and hiking with my dog, Remi.
